PositionCopywriter Consultant

The Copywriter Consultant will create original, compelling copy for a wide variety of platforms and audiences. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you are responsible for the execution of all communication strategies.


· Draft and revise content for various communications platforms with the tone and character of Hayes Locums including but not limited to web, email campaigns, social media, advertising collateral, video scripts and story boards, and media relations.

· Partner with the marketing agency to find integrated visual and copy solutions

· Work closely with the Director of Marketing to provide translation of copy for various platforms and purposes, and modify content based on constructive feedback delivered from data and analysis

· Support the business in the development of communications strategies to achieve the ROI business objectives (i.e. lead generation, increased consultant autonomy etc.)

· Manage the email campaign communication from beginning to end including content creation and insertion into platforms

· Daily translation of analytics to refine and measure brand character and tone

· Monitor internal and external best practices to ensure correct account spend and identify new opportunities

Position Requirements


· Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in English, Communications, Journalism, or Public Relations preferred

· 3 years of copywriting experience

· Intensive knowledge of AP Style

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with little review and revision required; flawless editing and proofreading skills

· Strong organization and time-management skills with attention to detail in file and project management

· Demonstrable ability to understand target customer personas, tailor messages for the particular medium with knowledge of best practices

· Experience working with at a high growth B2B

· The ability to adapt to change quickly and to tackle unfamiliar tasks and requests with enthusiasm and resourcefulness

Position Information and Benefits:

· Part-time (25 hours/week), in-office position

· $35 per hour
