    As a Lead Systems Engineer you will be part of a quickly growing team that while not bleeding edge, strives to be cutting edge in all technology platforms. The Lead Systems Engineer role will have significant say in the systems and security direction of the company along with being the hands-on expert implementing and supporting these areas.     Responsibilities

    • Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
    • Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
    • Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
    • Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes
    • Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
    • Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
    • Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
    • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support
    • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Technology, other related field or experience in lieu of education
    • 10 years of experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Windows OS based environments
    • Knowledgeable with all current network protocols and server standards
    • Experience in the build, administration, and performance tuning of Microsoft Azure environments
    • SaaS implementation experience
    • Experience with virtualization and containerization (Nutanix preferred)
    • Experience with monitoring systems
    • Experience with Office 365 hybrid environments and InTune security
    • Highly skilled with Windows and Azure Active Directory strongly preferred
    • Proficiency in Powershell scripting
    • Solid networking knowledge (Cisco equipment a plus)
    • Firewall knowledge (Palo Alto strongly preferred)
    • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
